” I’ve always liked Poison Ivy, she’s a fun character, ” he commented. ” So such a role would be beautiful .”

He went on to add: “ Honestly if James asked me to play an alien sitting in the background in a shot without a single line, I would accept [laughs]. Working with him has been one of the greatest joys of my career .”

A few weeks ago, in an interview for the new issue of  Empire dedicated to  Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania,  James Gunn announced that he would return to work with the  Guardians of the Galaxy in other DC Studios projects.

“I can’t say I’d sell my firstborn because she’s very special to me [laughs].” But I’d do anything and die to play Poison Ivy… “I’d also like to work with Mike Flanagan again,” Sackhoff said. “He is a genius who works well with others. Working on Oculus was a lot of fun for me because he let me talk about what I wanted to do with her [the character “Marie Russell”]. I love bringing physicality to the roles I play, and horror is no exception…And he was totally into it.”
