Actor Jeremy Renner, known for his role in Avengers, had an accident last sunday (1), while clearing snow in the backyard of his house in Sierra Nevada (USA).
“We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries sustained after suffering a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” the actor’s rep confirmed to Variety. “He is receiving excellent care and his family is with him,” he added.
The accident happened around 9am on Sunday and Renner was airlifted to the local hospital by helicopter.

The region where Renner resides experienced severe winter storms on New Year’s Eve and was once billed as the blizzard of the century.
In early December, the actor posted a photo of Lake Tahoe, the region bordering California and Nevada, quite famous for being a ski destination. “Snow on Lake Tahoe is no joke,” the actor commented in the post’s caption.
