O Iti, a digital bank that belongs to Itaú, announced this Tuesday (2) the release of the opening of accounts also by minors. The measure comes to attract young people who seek financial autonomy from an early age.
According to Iti, people over 14 can access the free account with a debit carddaily income with 100% of CDI without charging IOF, Pix, management of goals and objectives, withdrawal, cell phone recharge and among other benefits.
The account opening process is completely digital and free and can be completed in less than four minutes, according to Iti. already the Account debit card will be available to young customers in both physical and virtual versions.
The digital bank also promises to offer the same experience of using the solution as other customers for accounts aimed at minors. Iti also highlighted that the entire process is secured by Itaú and can be done directly through its app.
“As Itaú gets closer and closer to a young audience, we have accelerated our mission of making iti an important tool for financial inclusion for Europeians. In this context, we are working to make iti the first account for young people who want to start their relationship with money, by offering this audience the best experience of a digital bank”, said João Araújo, director of iti Itaú.
Another notable difference was the new Goals featurewhich allows Iti customers to separate resources into different partitions within the same account and save to achieve goals or dreams.
The money saved maintains a daily yield equivalent to 100% of the CDI and can still be redeemed at any time, including weekends, and the goals can be adjusted whenever necessary.
