There are still several months left for the debut of Apple’s new flagship iPhones; today we learn that iPhone 15 and 15 Plus they will feature a 48 megapixel main camera just like the Pro and Pro Max brothers.
As mentioned, the launch of the top of the range of apple will take place during next autumn. The leaks on these models have been in the air for some time and now, thanks to what is reported by the analyst of Haitong International Securities, the investment company based in Hong Kong, we discover that even the basic iterations of the series will have a photographic lens to 48 megapixels.

According to a research note released a few hours ago and shared online by MacRumors, we read that analyst Pu stated that the 48-megapixel three-layer sensor, capable of capturing much more light than previous lenses, will be capable of improving the quality of photos of future Apple phones. Furthermore, based on what has emerged from the supply chain, the infamous stacked sensor does not seem to be ready yet and could cause slight delays in the production of the Cupertino giant’s premium smartphones. However we read that smartphones will be announced, as always, in September.
Just for the uninitiated, the first Apple devices to receive the 48 megapixel sensor upgrade were the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro max. In the new top models, the same goal will still be maintained, but there will be a titanium frame instead of steel, an Apple Bionic A17 chip and 8 GB of RAM. The whole series will boast the USB Type-C port.
