Huawei announces mobile WiFi 3 Pro router, Tag and new colors for the P50 Pocket
At an event this Monday morning (04), Huawei presented several products, in addition to the long-awaited Nova 10 line phones.
Among them is the WiFi 3 Pro mobile router, the Huawei Tag smart tracker and new color options for the Huawei P50 Pocket, which was released in December last year in China.
The new WiFi 3 Pro mobile router is focused on portability and fast usage. It has a rectangular body with a slim design and rounded edges, in Interstellar Blue. There’s also a single stripe down the middle, with LED lights for essential information like battery level and signal strength.
The device weighs just 113 grams, ideal for travel. In the specifications, it can reach a maximum download speed of 300 Mbps and has a 3,000 mAh battery unit, with a promise of 12 hours of autonomy.
It can connect up to 32 devices simultaneously and features 2×2 WiFi antenna design with dual band speeds of 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Like other SIM-based portable routers, it needs one to work and is supported by China’s three largest carriers: Mobile, Telecom and China Unicom. In terms of price, the device comes out at CNY 499 (~R$399.)
Huawei Tag is a smart tracker with NFC. It can only be paired with devices that have Harmony OS 2.0, using the Find function to locate objects, with a speaker that can emit sounds of up to 92 decibels.
The device weighs just 6 grams and is 5.6 millimeters thick. It is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance. For energy, it has a single-use battery, which promises autonomy of more than a year. It comes in white color and the unit costs CNY 99 (~R$79), but the pack with four comes out at the promotional price of CNY 299 (~R$239).
In December 2021, Huawei launched the P50 Pocket foldable phone. At the time, it only had Black, Diamond White and Premium Gold Edition color options. From now on, the device will also have the colors Elegant Azure Blue and Cloud Brocade White.
In the specifications, the device has a 6.9-inch foldable OLED screen, 120 Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 888 4G platform, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage and battery unit. of 4,000 mAh. The 256 GB variant comes out at CNY 8,988 (~R$ 7,190)while the one with 512 GB costs CNY 9,988 (~R$ 7,990).
