How to Train Your Dragon is coming to live-action in 2025

This Wednesday (15), the The Hollywood Reporter announced that Dreamworks Animation is developing a live-action film of the saga How to Train Your Dragon. The adaptation is scheduled to debut on March 14, 2025 and will be directed by the same director of the animation trilogy Dean DeBlois.

So far, no official announcement has been made by the animation studio. However, as one of the most respected news outlets in the industry, the information from the THR is already considered by the others as confirmed.

The film will be distributed by Universal Pictures. Still, the film is expected to adapt the story of the trilogy released throughout the 2010s.
