Shazam Shortcut

To create this button, we will take advantage of the status bar, which opens when you swipe down from the top of the screen. That is where the shortcut will be located, so that it is only a swipe and open the identifier from there.

This button is not enabled when the application is installed, but the user himself is the one who must do it. The process is as follows for cell phones Android:

1. Pull down the status bar.

2. Touch the button to edit quick settings, which is located in the upper right.

3. Shortcuts that are available, but not enabled, will appear at the bottom. There you will find the Shazam icon.

4. Click on the ‘+’ button to add it to the main panel.

With this, access will be enabled along with others such as turning on Wi-Fi, mobile data, the flashlight, adjusting the brightness and others. This menu can be arranged to suit each user by clicking the edit button on the status bar again and moving each icon to the desired location.

In the case of devices with operating system iOSthe step by step is the following:

1. Open Settings on iPhone or iPad.

2. Scroll down until you find the ‘Control Center’ option.

3. Select the ‘More controls’ option.

4. Press the ‘+’ icon, from the shortcut called ‘Music Recognition’.

5. The Shazam button will now show up in the ‘Included Controllers’ section.

In this panel you can also edit the location of the button by holding down the three horizontal lines, moving the icon in the age position vertically.

When the access is activated, it will be enough to slide the bar, press it and in the background Shazam The identification process will begin. When recognizing the song, it will launch a notification confirming the name of the artist and the song, to later add it to each user’s library.

Identify songs without downloading apps

Another method to recognize songs is through the google assistant. This tool does the process without downloading an app, especially if you have Android.

There are two ways to do it. The first is by activating the assistant by saying: ‘Hey, Google’, then with the command “What is the name of this song?”. The system will start the process and direct the user to YouTube to play the audio.

The other way is by opening the application Google or the browser on mobile, press the microphone button located in the search bar, and then the platform will listen to the song to give the result.

This method is used to identify original audio, but also by whistling or humming its rhythm close to the microphone.
