House of the Dragon: teaser shows 10-year leap in plot; Look!

This Sunday (18), right after the airing of the new episode of House of the Dragon, HBO Max has already released the teaser of the 6th episode, which will be broadcast next Sunday. The big news of the trailer is the leap in the plot: Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke can already be seen as the new interpreters of Rhaenyra and Alicent, respectively.

In addition, King Viserys I already appears older and weakened. Likewise, her children with Alicent are grown and tension begins to mount more and more among the Targaryens.

What to expect from the 6th episode of House of the Dragon?

This week’s episode marked the farewell of Milly Alcock, the actress who plays the younger version of Rhaenyra, and Emily Carey, also a younger version of Alicent, from The Dragon’s House.

Ten years later, the two are adults and begin to deal with the aftermath of Viserys’ illness. The teaser also shows new dragons and characters introduced in the plot.

Titled “The Princess and the Queen”, the episode approaches what is known as “The Dance of Dragons” in the universe of The Chronicles of ice and Fire, civil war between the Targaryens looms and the fate of the Iron Throne is unknown.

the first season of The Dragon’s House will have ten episodes, with the last one being made available by HBO Max on October 23. Each episode is released weekly on the streaming platform’s catalog, always on Sundays, and simultaneously on HBO channels.
