Honor X40 launches with exotic camera module and mid-range hardware

Honor presented today (15) the X40, an intermediate smartphone with a curious look, with a large ring on the back serving as a module for only two cameras. In addition, it supports 5G networks, reasonable hardware for the category and 40W fast charging.

The Honor X40 is a smartphone with a 6.67-inch screen with AMOLED technology, with a curved panel on the front and a hole centered at the top of the display to store the front camera. This screen has Full HD+ resolution and support for a 120 Hz refresh rate, with a maximum brightness of 800 nits and an integrated fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

At the back, it has a large ring to store its two rear cameras and its LED flash. Its body is 7.9 mm thick and it weighs approximately 172 grams, according to the brand. The Honor X40 is offered in three colors which are black, green and gradient white with iridescent effect.

Honor X40 has 50 MP camera and mid-range chip

Aimed at the mid-range category, the Honor X40 is equipped with a Snpadragon 695 chipset, developed by Qualcomm, which supports 5G networks and has the Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of space. for internal storage, and it runs the Android 12 operating system under the Magic UI 6.1 interface — with Google apps and all, as Honor has long since parted ways with Huawei.

The smartphone has a dual set of rear cameras, with a main 50 MP and f/1.8 aperture and another 2 MP of unspecified function, supporting video recording up to Full HD. On the front, selfies are the responsibility of an 8 MP camera that also supports 1080p video recording.

Finally, the model features a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 40 W fast charging, with a charger that comes in the box that reaches 10 V and 4 A output. Still in the box, it has a protective cover, while it has a protective film installed on the screen at the factory.

The Honor X40 arrives in China in four variants, with different memory options. Interested parties can now purchase it on the brand’s official website. The prices below have been directly converted to real and do not include national taxes. There is no information about your arrival in Brazil.
