Honor Watch GS 3: Smartwatch with an elegant case (but with less battery)

The Honor brand formalizes a new connected watch, with his Watch GS3.
A more stylish model, but a little less efficient, the “fault” of a more successful GPS.

After the Watch GS Pro, Honor continues to expand its range of connected watches with the Watch GS 3. A watch that adopts a different positioning, the look of which has been reworked so that it can be worn in all circumstances.
The watch is adorned with a curved 3D glass and a stainless steel case offering the possibility for the buyer to opt for a Black, Silver, or Gold model. Each color is delivered with a specific bracelet. On the screen side, we find here a 1.43 “AMOLED panel, capable of displaying an image in 466 x 466 pixels, or 326 PPI. This is a little more than the previous Honor GS Pro, which offered a screen of 1, 39 “.
On the back of the watch, there is also a heart sensor, allowing the GS 3 to track your activities, without forgetting to monitor your precious sleep. The watch also has a new GPS system that promises 47% increased responsiveness and 167% increased accuracy (compared to the MagicWatch 2).

Autonomy side, Honor promises use of about 14 days in the context of “normal” use or 30 hours with the GPS activated. The manufacturer announces that it is possible to recover a day of use in just 5 minutes of charging, while the full recharge of the 451 mAh battery is carried out in an hour. For its part, the GS Pro displayed a battery life of 48 hours with the GPS activated.
Obviously, the Honor Watch GS 3 will come with various pre-installed applications, including a music player, an alarm, or even a button to remotely control the photo section of the associated smartphone. The watch runs under Google Wear.
An Honor Watch GS 3 is already available in China for pre-order, at a price equivalent to 180 euros.
