The film released in theaters in 2021 and well received by critics, Honey, how much I hate you (The Hating Game), is an American romantic comedy fiction directed by Peter Hutchins, starring Lucy Hale (American actress and singer, known for being one of the winners of the reality show American Juniors, an American Idol spinoff) Y austin stowell (Whiplash: music and obsession). This can already be seen in Prime Video.

The film begins with two guys behind a desk, totally focused on their work, coordinated even when making movements. The publishers to which both belong joined due to budgetary reasons; however, his employees consider each other mortal enemies.

The history of enmity in darling how much i hate you focuses mainly on Lucy (Lucy Hale) and Joshua (Austin Stawell). Although at first she tries to be nice and kind to him, conflicts break out when she realizes that he treats her in a contemptuous way.

So, one morning on Thanksgiving eve, the two heads of both publishers make the announcement of a new position to be in charge when one of them is not present. This puts Joshua and Lucy even more in competition, reaching an agreement. What does this imply? If one of the two wins, the other has to resign.

In the course of the story, as Lucy walks home after work, she sees couples and friends having fun on public transport, which makes her realize that she is alone and doesn’t enjoy moments like this. Then something happens to her about it that she never expected: she has a wet dream with no one else and no one less than Joshua. From there she begins the fun and spicy story of her.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, 71% of critics gave it a positive rating, with an average of 6.60/10. Something that stood out in this production in several of the articles was the chemistry of the two protagonists.
