HBO Max had already announced an increase in the monthly fee in the United States, but had not yet commented on changing the subscription in other regions.

The change follows the same path as the market, as other streaming competitors have also increased the monthly fee in recent months, including Netflix, Amazon and Disney +. This is the first time streaming has seen an increase since May 2021, when it launched.
