Google Cloud will integrate the cryptocurrency economy into its cloud services starting in 2023. The company confirmed that it will work with the trading platform coinbase,
Initially, only a group of users will be able to access this alternative; and for now, the currencies that will be accepted in transactions have not been defined.
Cryptocurrencies in Google Cloud
from next year coinbase will use the computing power of Google’s platform to process blockchain records at scale, leveraging Cloud’s machine learning capabilities to inform clients of cryptocurrency market trends.
For this, Coinbase will transition its data from Amazon Web Servies to Google’s service for storing cryptocurrencies, so both parties will take something from the transactions.
It is not known at this time which coins will be available, but the trading platform generally helps companies to accept and convert important tokens such as Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, USD Coin and Tether USD.
Those who will be able to access this service will initially be clients from the Web3 world who want to pay with cryptocurrencies, but it is not clear if they will be selected at random or will have some requirements to be accepted.

This is not the first move Google for entering this economy, at the beginning of the year, alpha net its parent company revealed that between September 2021 and June 2022 it had invested in blockchain companies than any other technology corporate entity.

The new family of solutions will enable enterprises to bring together threat data from sources such as VirusTotal and threat intelligence from Google Cloud to provide more transparency into security posture and exposure to malicious actors.
