However, this update was already officially implemented a few months ago on mobile phones, so the novelty is that it could also reach the desktop versions of Google Chrome.

Although Google removed this function from its list of services nine years ago, it did not mean the end of RSS readers at any time, as they have remained in force in other browsers and, in addition, Internet users indicate that they use them very frequently. Some technology websites suggest that it was for these reasons that the technology giant would be bringing this tool back.
