From the site of Geekbench today we find out what the technical specifications of the next home mid-range will be Google; it will be called Pixel 7a and it will be a beautiful and very powerful premium midrange. From the benchmarking portal we then reveal what the CPU performance will be which, by the way, seems to be incredible.
The next Google I/O is approaching; several smartphones will be unveiled within the show. We expect the Pixel Fold but also the mid-range phone, the Pixel 7a. Together with this we could also see the infamous Pixel Tablet that we previewed a few months ago. The design of the mid-range has already been revealed (it will be similar to the flagship Pixel 7) but today we know the performance of the processor.
Google Pixel 7a: amazing performance with a top processor
Today we learned about the performance of the next mid-range Pixel 7a thanks to the Geekbench site. Under the body of the terminal there will be a proprietary Tensor G2 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.85 Ghz; there will be two more cores at 2.35 GHz and four at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is a Mali G-710 instead.
From Geekbench we see what the performance of the internal chip of the future mid-range will be: from the single core test the Device obtained 1380 points, from the multicore instead, 3071 points. There will be 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Android 13 will be ready under the body of the Device. In short, in addition to being aesthetically beautiful, it will also be devoted to gaming and business.

The screen will be a 6.1-inch FullHD + OLED panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Under the chassis, Tensor G2 supported by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. The main camera will be a 64 Megapixel lens with OIS, 12 Max ultrawide and the selfiecam will instead be 10.8 Mpx. Finally, the battery will be a 4400 mAh energy cell with 20W wireless charging.
