Google personalizes the way you shop with 3D images, trends and more

Google Shopping is transformed with some features 3D that will allow to see the product with more detail and precision.

Next, TechMarkup brings the 9 new features of this free service:

1. 3D shoes in the search

Shopping search results show 3D views of the shoes the user is looking for. To do this, Google developed a system that can create 360-degree views with just six images that cover all angles of a product.

This option is expected to be available in the United States during the first months of 2023.

2. Buying guide

A purchase that Google considers difficult is when the consumer has many variables to make a decision. So, the buying guide hopes to help make decisions by showing the options at the same time to compare.

For example, if the person is looking for a bicycle, different aspects or categories will be displayed from which the results can be processed, such as size, brakes, suspension, etc.

The option is already available in the United States.

3. Dynamic purchase filters

The filters that Google displays when shopping are no longer fixed and change in real time based on search trends. For example, when searching for jeans, filters such as “wide leg” or “length” will appear, depending on the current trend.

4. Search with the word “Store”

In the US when the user searches for the word shop” followed by whatever item you’re searching for, you’ll be taken to a visual feed of products, research tools, and nearby inventory related to that product.

Google is also expanding the shopping search experience beyond clothing to all categories, from electronics to beauty, and more regions in the world. cell phone (and soon on the desktop).

5. Buy the complete outfit

“Say you’re looking for a new fall wardrobe staple, like a bomber jacket. The tool will display images of bomber jackets and complementary pieces, as well as options on where to buy them, all within the search”, Google mentions in his blog.

6. Discover function

Using Discover on the app From Google you will be able to see suggested styles based on what the user has been buying and what others have also searched for.

7. See what’s hot

Trending products are a new feature in Search that show the most popular models, styles and brands.

US shoppers will be able to shop the look and view the trending products later this US fall.

8. See what other buyers think

This new function of the Google application consists of providing information about the web page that is being accessed with information about it, and how the rating of other users is.

9. Get personalized results

More personalized shopping results based on past shopping habits will soon be available. Also, you will have the option to tell Google your preferences and controls to easily disable personalized results.

Shopping personalization will roll out in the US later this year.
