Galaxy Z Fold 5 appears in images and should not have dust resistance

Now, the vertical module will only store your cameras, with the LED flash being on the right side, outside the oval structure. The camera lenses should still gain a silver finish around them, ensuring greater protection and looking more like the Galaxy S23 series devices.

Another important novelty is that the gap between the internal screen that existed until the Galaxy Z Fold 4 seems to have been removed, and now the Galaxy Z Fold 5 seems to close completely. This can help prevent dirt from entering the inner screen when closed.

A recent rumor even said that the smartphone would have IP58 resistance, finally being resistant to dust. But, Ice Universe, an informant who is very accurate in his leaks, said that unfortunately it will not be the time that he will have this certification, and it will continue to be considered IPX8, where there is only resistance against water. It is not clear if the same will apply to the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which will also appear at the next event.

Finally, Ahmed Waider, in another publication, added some news related to the battery of the device. He indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will maintain the same battery capacity as the current generation, with its 4,400 mAh, and with the same support for fast charging at 25 W – it should not be this time that it will have 45 W charging. on the Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Unfortunately, there is no confirmed date for the presentation of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. But Samsung has already confirmed that their arrival will take place at the end of July.
