The under-display camera of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 should not only be easy to see but also have a relatively low resolution. If the leaked technical specifications turn out to be true, the camera is only suitable for photos to a limited extent.

By placing it under the screen, it should be possible to equip the device with a larger display. In addition, the selfie camera should be more inconspicuous. The Leaker Ice Universe, on the other hand, emphasizes that the front camera of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is very easy to see. The camera should even be more noticeable than the previous solutions with a hole in the display.

The front camera has a resolution of four megapixels

An extensive datasheet for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 has now been leaked. According to the online magazine Sammobile, the technical specifications were shared by a Korean YouTube channel. In addition to the details about the Galaxy Z Fold 3, information about the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was also listed. The leak shows that the under-display camera of the upcoming foldable only has a four-megapixel resolution.

Of course, it is conceivable that the information is just a mistake and that the smartphone is delivered with a better camera under the screen. However, the low resolution could also represent a compromise made to improve the image quality.

In addition to the sub-display camera, a Snapdragon 888 and twelve gigabytes of RAM should be installed in the Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to the datasheet, the internal memory is 256 or 512 gigabytes in size. The battery capacity should be 4400 mAh. The foldable has IP68 certification and has S-Pen support. The presentation is expected to take place on August 11th.
