If you bought the Galaxy A52 5G a few weeks or months ago, you have to be strong now. Because Samsung recently launched an improved version of the midrange. The Samsung Galaxy A52s has more power thanks to the Snapdragon processor and retains the qualities of the Galaxy A52 5G. This includes IP certification, a camera with optical image stabilization, and an AMOLED display with 120 Hertz.
The new heart of the Galaxy A52s is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, which is the local version of the Snapdragon 768G, so to speak. The latter was an optimized version of the former flagship SoC Snapdragon 765G, which unfortunately didn’t make it to Germany. As the Nano review page shows, the new processor scores almost 50 percent better in the Antutu Android benchmark.
New colors as further news
Apart from the processor, you will still find a quad-camera with up to 64 megapixels and optical image stabilization on the back of the Galaxy A52s. As additional sensors, Samsung uses 12 megapixels at an ultra-wide-angle and 5 megapixels each for macro and depth information. The display still measures 6.5 inches and has an FHD + resolution.
As with the Galaxy A52 5G, there is a version with 128 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM and one with 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. The manufacturer also retains the IP certification according to IP67. However, the Galaxy A52s starts at an MSRP of 449 euros and additional storage costs 509 euros. You may recognize the A52s on the road by the new color. It bears the name “Awesome Violet” and is exclusively reserved for the model.
