The “Duel of Squads” of free fire has undergone changes after the installation of the “Ilumina” patch. Players will notice a different dynamic, as well as various layouts and areas available to get in a gunfight with the community.
A first detail to consider is the new Alps map for the Squad Duel in free fire. Added to this are new areas for the game mode in Bermuda: Hangar and Nurek Dam. When it comes to map balance, Garena argues: “Have you ever felt powerless while fighting in fairly empty areas? We added covers in certain places in Bermuda, let these help you knock out your enemies more easily!”. The adjustments in question apply to Katulistiwa, Mars Electric and Mill.

The Rank Card, meanwhile, displays battle stats on the loading page. “We’ve added a new interface to the Squad Duel – Ranked loading page so you can have a special place to show off your achievements! Now, you can not only display your battle stats on the page, but also choose what other players can see.”. New areas in Bermuda
Garena also added airdrop to the warm-up battles. “Airdrops are now available in Duel Squads. Have you ever heard of the M1887 with 3 shots? You may find it in the Airdrop Bonus!”. Only available in Classic Squad Duel mode.
Finally, we have a new rank icon for Squad Duel – Ranked. “It’s been a long time since our Squad Duel and Battle Royale icons have been updated. In this patch, you will be greeted with a new set of Duel Squad rank icons!”. Related:
