First reactions to ‘The Little Mermaid’ by Halle Bailey: “The best Disney live-action”

First reactions to 'The Little Mermaid' by Halle Bailey:

In full boom of disney live action, The little Mermaid seems to have found a privileged place judging by the first criticisms of American media professionals. After years of conflicts with the election of halle baileyAs the first black Ariel, the actress seems to have turned many mouths shut with her impressive voice flow and performance.

Much of the first impressions extol the work of the American actress, as well as co-stars such as Melissa McCarthy (as Ursula) daveed diggs (as Sebastian) and Awkwafina (as Scuttle). However, there are also many who affect the irregular tone of the title of Rob Marshall, that will reach the Spanish screens next may 26.

“Disney’s live-action is magical, exciting and enchanting. Rob Marshall has just directed Disney’s best live-action film. The beautiful music by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Alan Menken shines. Halle Bailey is absolutely extraordinary! And Melissa McCarthy is a bad-ass Ursula.”

The little Mermaid Disney is definitely one of the best live-action adaptations. Halle Bailey pours incredible emotion into Ariel and it gave me chills to watch her, as Melissa McCarthy’s Ursula and Daveed Diggs’ Sebastian steal scenes all the time.”

“It’s very simple. Are you excited about The little Mermaid ? It will like you. It’s exactly what you think it is. Are you skeptical and worried? That is valid too. It looks weird and disjointed. Bailey is great, McCarthy rules and the songs work but seem unnecessary.”

The little Mermaid It’s pretty close to being Disney’s best live-action movie, however, it still struggles in the villain department. Halle Bailey IS Ariel and I had literal chills during her performance. This is a little mermaid like you’ve never seen before.”

The little Mermaid it’s lovely, but unbelievably irregular. Halle Bailey, Jonah Hauer-King, Melissa McCarthy, and Javier Bardem poured their hearts and souls into a film that can’t escape its animated legacy. Best when it leans into campy wackiness, but limits its fantasy elements for no reason.”

“Lovely but uneven, The little Mermaid It doesn’t offer the magic of classic animation, but there are plenty of creative Rob Marshall touches to get audiences’ boats afloat. Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy are great. Daveed Diggs and Awkwafina provide solid comic relief.”

The little Mermaid It’s packed with great performances from Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy, but it’s a mostly paint-by-numbers remake that isn’t nearly as good as the animated masterpiece.”

“It may look visually gross under the sea, but The little Mermaid eventually recreates some of the magic of the original film through its timeless story and cast. Daveed Diggs and Melissa McCarthy are the highlights, but Halle Bailey is the one who wows with her gorgeous singing and her empathetic charm.
