FIFA 22 players can, since January 10, vote to elect the TOTY (Team of the Year), in order to recover a particularly boosted version of the cards of the elected players.
Like every year, Electronic Arts allows its community to elect the Team of the Year, which is supposed to reward the best players over the calendar year. Since January 10, it is possible to vote to elect the eleven best players (one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders, and three attackers) of the year 2021.
During this footballing year, many teams and nations have managed to stand out, sometimes thanks to certain individualities, but often thanks to a collective, like Italy during the Euro or Chelsea for the Champions League. While Electronic Arts have just opened the votes for the famous FIFA 22 TOTY, we offer you our predictions, even if the choices are not the easiest.
After much thought, here is our TOTY prediction for FIFA 22. You can vote until January 17 at 11:59 p.m.
TOTY FIFA 22, Our Predictions
- Mendy – G – Chelsea
- Theo Hernández – GM – AC Milan
- Marquinhos – DC – Paris Saint-Germain
- Rúben Dias – DC – Manchester City
- João Cancelo – DD – Manchester City
- Bruno Fernandes – MOC – Manchester United
- Kanté – MDC – Chelsea
- Müller – MC – Bayern Munich
- Mbappé – BU – Paris Saint-Germain
- Lewandowski – BU – Bayern Munich
- Haaland – BU – Borussia Dortmund
The TOTY is usually accompanied by a “twelfth man”, we focus on Karim Benzema. Although Real Madrid did not win any titles last year, the Frenchman was able to carry the Merengues. And although Electronic Arts have made a habit of releasing TOTYs with Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for a few years now, we believe that players such as Mbappé, Haaland, or even Lewandowski, in view of their last season, deserve their place unlike the golden legends that are CR7 and Messi.
