New year, new Samsung Galaxy phones, updated to Android 13. The Galaxy A03 representing the entry level, as well as the A03s version and the Galaxy F12 intended for the Indian market, also received the latest One UI system version. One UI Core 5.0 can be installed on the Galaxy A03 and A03s already sold on the European market by downloading the A035FXXU2CVL4 firmware. The word Core in the software version means that some functions are missing or work in a reduced way due to simple hardware.
The update includes the November 2022 security patch, patches 46 vulnerabilities and other bugs. The Galaxy F12 also receives the same security patch, but there is a full-fledged One UI 5 system, but it is an exclusive phone in India, so it is not so relevant in the domestic market. Samsung dated the current update to March 2023, but with its release it fulfilled its update plan ahead of time and made the latest main version available for all S-, Z-, and A-series phones released last year. This is particularly positive news regarding the cheaper members of the A-series.
