The Holmes family is back! The sequence of Enola Holmes is now available in the Netflix catalog. In the new feature, Enola is determined to follow in her brother’s footsteps, when she also starts working as a detective.
“The problem is, her career isn’t very busy. Resigned to the hardships of adulthood, she’s about to drop everything… until a penniless girl shows up with a request that promises to be Enola’s first official case: find the missing sister”, points out the synopsis of the feature.
“As a deadly conspiracy begins, Enola will need the help of friends – and Sherlock himself – to unravel the mystery.”
In the lead roles are Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, while the rest of the cast has David Thewlis, Louis Partridge, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster and Helena Bonham Carter. Harry Bradbeer (Killing Eve) and Jack Thorne return to direct and write the film, respectively.
After the success of the first film – which became one of the most watched Netflix originals on the platform – the sequel is expected to achieve the same result in the coming days.
About a possible third film, actress Millie Bobby Brown has even revealed that she has ideas for the plot. “I would love to be a part of another movie. I would love to see her solve more cases, be pressured, be put in crazy situations, make her feel vulnerable again. I would absolutely love to see her go back to work,” she told the magazine.
