Elon Musk and Tim Cook met and sealed the peace between Twitter and Apple

The owner of Twitter, Elon Musksaid he met with the head of Manzana, Tim Cookthis Wednesday and “resolved the misunderstanding” that led him to declare the war on the app store from the manufacturer of iphone.

“Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter’s possible removal from the App Store,” Musk tweeted.

“Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing it,” he added.

Musk also tweeted a video clip of the “beautiful Apple headquarters” in Cupertino, Californianoting that he had had a “good conversation” with Cook.

The richest person in the world opened fire on the most valuable company on the planet earlier this week for rates and rules on the app storesaying that Apple had threatened to oust its platform from social networks recently acquired.

the billionaire CEO tweeted that Apple “threatened to remove Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why.”

Apple, which hasn’t issued a public statement on the matter, typically tells developers if fixes need to be implemented in apps to comply with App Store policies.

Analysts told the AFP that the conflict may be over money, and Musk was upset that the App Store charges a fee for transactions like subscriptions.

Musk has delayed the relaunch of the subscription level of Twitter Blue intended for users to pay for benefits such as account verification marks.

Twitter launched the service Blue in early November, but took it offline after the impersonators paid for the check marks seem legitimate in what the former head of security Yoel Roth called “a disaster.”
