Electronic Arts confirms “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2” and other Star Wars titles

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order ” performed strongly in both downloads on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox series, and PC consoles. It was a game that explores a story after the execution of order 66, which served to start the tyranny of the Empire.

As expected, Star Wars fans were waiting for new titles to be announced for all consoles. Well, you don’t have to wait any longer, Lucasfilm Games, Disney Games, Electronic Arts and Respawn are working on up to three games.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is a reality, but it is not yet known exactly what story it will address. This saga could simply be about exploring loose stories of surviving Jedi.

Through a statement, they announced that they will continue working to deliver more Star Wars titles to the community. Respawn, a company in charge of development, will play an important role there.

Star Wars Jedi 2 will be in charge of Stig Asmussen, while two teams have been separated for the development of up to two games that will belong to different genres.

The first will be a first-person shooter by Peter Hirschmann. Rumors indicate that the second project will be of the strategy genre, which would be in charge of Greg Foertsch.

The announcement of a sequel comes after Electronic Arts announced their commitment to the franchise in August 2021. During an earnings call, the business vowed to “continue to invest” in the series, implying that they will make another game in the wake of its huge success. Fallen Order was touted as a success and a reason that EA saw value in producing additional single-player games in reports of the Dead Space remake.
