Is Infinite Flight Simulator worth downloading?
From the Airbus A380-800 from Austral to the Boeing 747-400 from Air France, the Infinite Flight Simulator offers numerous simulation options. The layout is very clear for such a simulator. For newbies like me, the developers offer an instruction manual in which every function and every control element of the app is explained. The tutorials are in video form and are very well done.
I like the appealing game design – and that the support in the App Store from the developers seems to be impeccable and answers all questions. Features that you will be offered include planes from different fleets, civil and military planes, multiple regions with high-resolution satellite imagery, precise topography, and the most important airports with correct runway configurations.
The scenarios offer realistic atmospheres, which means that you can simulate a flight in the sunshine, rain, clouds, and starry skies. The game also features an autopilot mode, an instrument landing system (ILS), cockpit and door animations, and landing gear and wing movements in some aircraft.
Finally, the app offers in-app purchases, which means that you can upgrade to the Pro version via subscription. In Germany, the annual subscription for the Pro version costs 84.99 euros, but you can also pay monthly (10.49 euros) or every six months (52.99 euros).
On the App Store, most of the criticism relates to the fact that the game is paid and has limited access to its features. In fact, for example, the multiplayer mode is reserved for the Pro version and in the current free version, you cannot access all airports and aircraft models. So use the free download to find out whether the range of functions is enough for you – or whether you even want to take out a subscription for all the additional features.
Does the Infinite Flight Simulator app respect your personal data?
In addition, the IP address and the device type are recorded. According to the developers, this is used for system diagnostics and fraud prevention and detection.
We would also like to point out that, as long as your account is active, your data can be passed on to the employees of the company, to business partners and to anyone who you expressly allow. The company declares that it can also provide such data should this be required by law.
