HBO Max announced last Wednesday night (25) the series cancellation Doom Patrol and Titans, both productions of the DC Comics universe. Thus, the two series will end in the fourth season, which are already in production.
The news was confirmed by the newest DCU boss, James Gunn, on Twitter. “The decision to end the series precedes us. But I certainly wish the best for the talented group of creators, actors and the rest of the team that produced both shows.”
A source involved with the two series assured that the creative teams of Doom Patrol and Titans already knew about the cancellation. Therefore, both stories will receive an ending. “While these are the final seasons of Titans and Doom Patrolwe are very proud of these series and excited for fans to see their climatic endings,” HBO Max said in a press release.

With the latest news involving HBO Max productions, the cancellation of the series was not a big surprise, as it is part of the restructuring of the DCU.
