Just a few days ago, video game journalist Jason Schreier commented that he had information about the possible release date of God of War Ragnarok, the sequel to the reboot of the saga.
“Despite widespread rumours, Sony’s God of War Ragnarok has not been delayed until 2023, according to people familiar with the project. Video game development is turbulent and the game could crash again, but as of this week, it’s planned for November.” commented.
However, new information reached the Reddit forums, where it is stated that the new release date would be in October of this year. The user u/VFB-Fan93 cites the Blackfire source, which detailed the following:
- “Release date: October 2022 (subject to change)”.
However, this refers to the date of sale of the merchandising. Normally, the toy sale is usually before the premiere of a movie or video game, which already anticipates some details of the plot.
For now, the developer Santa Monica Studio remains silent on the development. Initially, they announced a delay due to the coronavirus and have only shared an official trailer.
