DIZO presented last Tuesday night (19) two new products that will be added to its extensive tech portfolio. We are talking about the Watch D Sharp, a smart watch that promises long autonomy and various sport modes; and Wireless Active, its new pair of headphones with Bluetooth 5.3 connection.
The new realme sub-brand smartwatch has a 1.75-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 390 pixels and an advantageous peak brightness of 550 nits. The display is encased in a bezel made of a hybrid material — polycarbonate and metal — to give the watch more resistance and a distinctive finish. The bracelets are made of silicone only.
The Watch D Sharp, whose design was leaked before launch, integrates more than 110 sport modes to accurately track various activities, including swimming and surfing, as it has a certified resistance of 5 ATM (up to 50 meters of water depth). .
To measure the user’s health, the smartwatch features real-time heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation, sleep tracking and menstrual cycle tracking. Other features include GPS-optimized step and calorie countershydration and sedentary reminders.
By pairing the watch with the smartphone, the proprietary operating system offers functions such as rejecting SMS calls, music controls, alarms and even phone location.
Watch D Sharp promises autonomy of up to 2 weeks with its 300 mAh battery in “typical use”, but the manufacturer does not reveal under what conditions, only stating that the tests are carried out in the laboratory and “may vary according to the environment and pattern of use”.
The wireless headphones are equipped with 11.2mm drivers that deliver good volume and excellent bass. Each end has a magnet that, when connected, keep the accessory in standby mode to save battery – just separate them to answer a call or continue watching a movie, for example.
Wireless Active supports gesture controls that allow you to pause/play, skip a song, decline a call or enter “Game Mode”. Speaking of which, gamers will be able to benefit from the low latency feature that reduces the sound delay to just 88 milliseconds. For connection, the headphones use Bluetooth 5.3.
This entire set works for up to 23 continuous hours, according to the manufacturer. The battery supports fast and efficient charging that promises 3 additional hours of playback with just 10 minutes of recharge via USB-C.
The DIZO Watch D Sharp and Wireless Active will be sold at Flipkart and other retail stores in India from the 29th and 28th of July respectively.
The smart watch will have suggested price of 2,999 rupees (about R$ 203) and will be available in black, gray and blue. The headphones will have a suggested price of 1,199 rupees (about R$ 81) and will arrive in the same color options as the wearable.
