The story focuses on five fairies and their transition to adulthood as they study at Alfea, a school of magic that teaches them to master their powers in the face of avatars of love, rivalries, and monsters that could end their race.
The series is an adaptation live action of winx-cluba well-remembered Italian animation program created by Iginio Straffi which aired between 2004 and 2010. Brian Young (The Vampire Diaries) was in charge of bringing this iconic fantasy and fairy plot to the world of flesh and blood throughout six episodes that were released in January of last year.
