death on the nile is part of the new adaptation that the director and actor Kenneth Brangh took to the movies after Murder on the Orient Express. The film had a previous passage through the movie theaters, but also going to land on the platform StarPlus from April 20 for all its subscribers.
Based on the 1937 novel of the same name by the iconic writer Christie Agatha, the film transports us to the seemingly calm waters of the Nile River in Egypt, where many deaths and mysteries occur. A curious fact that you have death on the nile is that two close relatives of Agatha Christie who actively participated in the film were consulted. So much Mathew PrichardChristie’s only grandson, as her son James Prichardhelped Branagh and her team understand the author’s attitude toward her book, the characters, and the setting.
“James and Matthew gave us a vital perspective on who this incredible writer was on a personal level,” Branagh said. James Prichard elaborated on this adaptation, saying: “For viewers, it is extremely important that they feel that they not only saw a fabulously modern film and a great cinematic spectacle, but that they have experienced an Agatha Christie night. Ken (Branagh) managed to build a world that reflects Agatha’s unique perspective and her exceptional gift for storytelling.”

Everything about the story is bigger, sexier and much deeper, literally and aesthetically,” Branagh reflected.
