You can download the DaVinci Resolve video cutting, editing and coloring creative application for iPad if the tablet has the A12 Bionic or newer system chip and runs iPadOS 16 software. DaVinci Resolve users can work on tablets equipped with M1 and M2 chips, which are said to be perfectly consistent with the desktop environment. Some functions may be missing on older iPads, and the resolution of projects that can be processed in the application on some older models is limited to HD. Resolve for iPad supports H.264, H.265, Apple ProRes and Blackmagic RAW file formats, as well as control with the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, and with iPad Pro models, Studio and Pro XDR displays.

The user interface has been slightly redesigned to be easily controlled by hand and touch, but one can also use a keyboard and mouse to simulate a desktop environment. DaVinci Resolve for iPad includes color correction, editing, cloud-based collaboration, and AI-based masking and audio editing. If you have existing projects on your desktop, you can import up to 18 of them into the iPad app at once.

The app weighs 2GB, is free to install and try, but requires DaVinci Resolve Studio to access all features, which means a one-time purchase of $94.99.
