Dahmer and Welcome to the Neighborhood Season 2 on Netflix

THE Netflix confirmed this Monday (7), the renewal for the second season of the series Welcome to the Neighborhood and Dahmer: An American Cannibal. Both productions were very well received by the public and have been in the top 10 of the platform since they debuted.

The success of the series was such that the company decided to adapt the productions, turning them into anthologies. That is, both were developed to be originally miniseries, but will win new seasons with different stories.

While the second season of The Watcher [Bem-Vindos à Vizinhança, no original] details have not yet been revealed, the new episodes of monster – name given to the anthology that began with Dahmer -, will focus on “other monstrous figures who have impacted society”, indicates Netflix.

“The creative team of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan on monster along with Eric Newman in The Watcher are masterful storytellers who have captivated audiences around the world,” said Bela Bajaria, head of global TV at Netflix.

“The back-to-back strength of these two series is due to Ryan’s distinctive original voice, which created cultural sensations and we are excited to continue telling stories in the Dahmer and Watcher universes.”

the plot of Welcome to the Neighborhood is based on a true story and follows a couple, played by Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale, who are harassed by a ‘watchman’ of the house in which they live.

Already Dahmer: The American Cannibal tells the true story of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, guilty of murders over 17 years. The series was a worldwide success and had over 934 million hours of views.
