So, behold, the question arises: what happened to Stallone and why is he not present in the production?

Stallone out of Creed 3: understand why
The absence of the star rambo is due to some severe creative differences between Stallone and Irwin Winkler, producer of the Stallone films. creed, and director and star Michael B. Jordan. For the actor, the new series of films would be “dark” and “too negative” when compared to the original franchise centered on Rocky Balboa. Stallone even had already expressed his dissatisfaction with the producer on his own Instagram, talking about the direction of creed in theaters (the posts, however, were deleted).
the script of creed 3 was written by Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin, based on a story (screenplay) by Ryan Coogler, Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. In the plot, we see a figure from the past of Adonis, Damian Anderson (Jonathan Majors) emerge in search of revenge in the present. An idea that did not please Stallone for having a somewhat negative nature, very centered on the concept of revenge.

“It’s an annoying situation because I know what we could have done. [filme] was taken in a different direction than I would have taken. It’s a different philosophy – from Irwin Winkler and Michael B. Jordan. I wish them well, but I’m much more of a sentimentalist. I like my heroes to get beaten up, but I don’t want them to go into that dark space. I think people have enough darkness,” Stallone said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in November last year.
Creed 3 is available in theaters in Brazil. The other films in the franchise can be watched on Amazon Prime Video.
