Community: movie in the series is officially in development; Look!

Streaming Peacock has announced that it is developing a film based on the popular sitcom Community. According to the service, the project will have the return of important names of the series almost seven years after its conclusion and will be written by Dan Harmon, original creator of the production of NBC.

More details were not revealed, but the returns of Joel McHale (Jeff Winger), Danny Pudi (Abed Nadir), Alison Brie (Annie Edison), Gillian Jacobs (Britta Perry), Jim Rash (Dean Craig Pelton) and Ken are already confirmed. Jeong (Ben Chang). Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover, Chevy Chase, John Oliver, Jonathan Banks, Keith David and Paget Brewster are not cast in the film.

“’Six Seasons and a Movie’ started as a bold line at the beginning of Community and quickly ignited a movement of fans in love with this iconic, hilarious and cool NBC comedy,” said Susan Rovner, president of entertainment at NBC (via TV Fanatic).

More details about Community — The Film will be revealed later. There is no plot information or release window. However, the film will be shown exclusively on Peacock.
