It all started due to the unofficial dubbing of the manga that became quite popular among fans. In the unofficial translation, a scene in which the character Demônio do Futuro says “The future is pica” gained repercussions.
While the Brazilian version, published by Panini, translated the scene as “the future is awesome”, the Brazilian dubbing put “The future is show”. é pica” was maintained. Check out the scene in question below:

Brigss, who voices the demon, received a barrage of criticism. On social networks, a part of the fans came out in defense of the professional — who has lent voice to great characters, including Buzz Lightyear.
Imagine a fandom being toxic to the point of taking Guilherme Briggs, one of the most adorable and talented people, to give up on a project pic.twitter.com/MUHzls8KVh

All solidarity with @GuilhermeBriggs which received terrible attacks because of the toxic anime community. He even gave up the role… I went through that once and since then I haven’t talked about anime on the channel. It’s a noisy minority. The good point is that they only exist on the internet.
