Xavier Lopez chabelo retired from television since 2015, when he reported that his legendary program In family with Chabelo was over. Since then, on a few occasions he has returned to show himself before the cameras, only on very special occasions.
That is why it was surprising that Jorge Muñiz shared a video of the actor congratulating him on his birthday on his Twitter account. Although he pointed out that he’s a couple of years old of this, netizens reacted happily and celebrated seeing it, mainly, hear it again.

What has become of Chabelo since his retirement?
It was at the end of 2015 that the program In family with Chabelo came to an end after being on the air for almost 50 years. After this, the histrion appeared at some events and participated in a movie, but he did not have such a public life as before.
After more than four years of his retirement, rumors began to emerge about Xavier López’s health, including the magazine TV Notes reported that the actor was allegedly hopeless because it was diagnosed with cancer.
