Castelo Rá-Tim-Bum: dancing characters go viral on the internet; Look!

A video of a group of dancers dressed as characters from the Castle Ra-Tim-Bum went viral on social media this Tuesday (18). The characters worked at a party and represented Biba, Nina, Pedro and Zequinha, all partying to the sound of the DJ dressed as Etevaldo. Below, see the video:


Luciano Amaral, who played Pedro in the original production, noticed the dancers and made a playful tweet:

“There are a lot of people talking nonsense, but I’m not ashamed to admit it. We are doing dance performances dressed as characters from the Castle to survive. Hire us. We are Carreta Castelão. Feel the swing!”, he joked.


In addition, Cinthya Rachel, who played Biba, also commented: “I dance a lot, as you can see. Wait for us to travel around Brazil”.

The presentation took place this weekend in the city of Cabo de Santo Agostinho, in Recife, Pernambuco. The party was organized by DJ Luan Sobral, who took advantage of social media to thank the messages of affection.


“This year @caldaodosobral came with the theme “The Fantastic Factory of Dreams” and I was able to perform mine, to enter this magical universe of Castelo together with dear friends who also met with a lot of love”, wrote the DJ.

O Castle Ra-Tim-Bum was a children’s television series that was very successful in the 90s and 2000s. In the plot, Nino is a 300-year-old boy who lives in a castle with his uncle, the eccentric Dr. Victor, and his aunt, the sorceress Morgana. He is friends with Pedro, Biba and Zequinha, three mortal children drawn to the castle after a spell by Nino.


There, they live the most diverse adventures and meet magical characters such as the snake Celeste, the extraterrestrial Etevaldo and Caipora.
