Brendan Fraser: what are the actor’s next films after The Whale?

Brendan Fraser made history. After being away from the big screen for many years and being “forgotten” by the film industry, the actor returned to the spotlight through The whale (The Whale), film by Darren Aronofsky, and, surprisingly, won the Oscar in the category of Best Actor in 2023 for his work in the work. In the feature film produced by A24, Fraser plays Charlie, a severely obese man desperately trying to reconnect with his teenage daughter Ellie (Sadie Sink) before he dies.

Much loved by Brazilian fans, Fraser delivered an emotionally charged performance in The whale, something a little different from what the actor used to do in Hollywood. In the past, the artist was best known for his action and comedy films, such as The Mummy (1999), demonic (2000) and George, King of the Forest (1997), for example. His last leading role in an audiovisual project was in The Hunt (Breakout)of 2013.
