Black Adam’s Aldis Hodge to Star in New Amazon Prime Video Series

After playing the hero Hawkman in the new DC movie, black adam, Aldis Hodge will play the protagonist of the new Amazon Prime Video crime series. It is an adaptation of the novels by writer James Patterson, in which the figure of detective Alex Cross stands out.


Previously, the character was lived in theaters by Morgan Freeman, in the films Kisses That Kill (1997) and In the Spider’s Web (2001), and also Tyler Perry, in The Enemy’s Shadow (2012). According to what has been disclosed so far, the new series, provisionally titled crosswill focus on the iconic detective’s family.

Described as a detective and forensic psychologist capable of delving into the psyches of murderers and their victims, he is also seen as a man full of contradictions amid successes and failures.

In evidence due to black adam, Aldis Hodge has other interesting credits under his belt. The actor has been in films like Straight Outta Compton: The Story of the NWA (2015), Stars Beyond Time (2016), One Night in Miami… (2020) and The invisible man (2020).
