While Warner does not confirm the information, it is worth remembering that Brosnan had already commented in an interview how much he enjoyed filming black adam. He praised, not just the character, but the opportunity to be able to participate in the creation of his uniform.
“It was a very well designed outfit and helmet, and I really liked it,” Brosnan said. “[O diretor] Jaume Collet-Serra is very inclusive in collaboration. He was wonderful in the sense that he would send me drawings of the helmet so I could participate in his look.”
Brosnan also spoke about the depth and ambiguity of Doctor Doom. According to the actor, Kent Nelson’s use of the Helmet of Fate can be seen as “both a blessing and a curse”. That’s because it is he who bestows the supernatural powers that drain “a lot of energy” from its user.
Brosnan compared his character’s addiction in Helmet of Fate to a form of drug addiction, hinting at a darker side of Doctor Fate.
