The long awaited horror movie brutal nights (or barbarianin the original) arrived in the Star+ catalog this Wednesday (26).
“The film follows Tess, a young woman who travels to Detroit for a job interview and decides to stay in the city. But when she arrives, she discovers that, in the same property she rented, there is a strange man staying.
Despite her better judgment, Tess decides to settle in anyway and spend the night. It doesn’t take long for the character to realize that her life is in danger.”

Georgina Campbell (broadchurch), Bill Skarsgard (It – The Thing), Justin Long (Hungry Eyes: Reborn), Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Jaymes Butler and Kurt Braunohler are part of the cast. Check out the trailer:
So far, the film has had a good reception from the public and the specialized critics, with a 92% approval from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. The site calls the film “smart, with dark humor and, above all, scary”. “brutal nights offers horror fans a thrilling and consistently unpredictable journey,” reads the site’s critical consensus.
Already among the public, the feature reached the mark of 70% of approval, based on more than a thousand notes.
