ASUS has just updated its line of cell phones sold in Brazil with the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate model. The product arrives with powerful specifications to run any game on the Play Store, and a price comparable to the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The device’s performance set is led by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a platform presented at the end of last year. It already appears in premium models such as the Galaxy S23 and Xiaomi 13 line, with a 4-nanometer construction and frequencies of up to 3.2 GHz.

The device is sold in a single version with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB internal storage. Its performance is optimized through an advanced internal cooling system, which has large dissipation chambers and greater coverage of components with graphite plates.

However, users who want even more cooling power can use the AeroActive 7 external cooler, which promises to be 20% more efficient in keeping the device at controlled temperatures.

Phone has customizable buttons and 165 Hz screen

The gamer characteristics of the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate can also be seen in its construction, which features customizable side triggers to expand the possibilities of commands in games. In addition, its back contains an LED screen and customizable RGB lighting.

In the front section, the 165 Hz screen should offer high fluidity in games and other fast moving content, while the 720 Hz touch response ensures that all commands are identified immediately. The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate panel still has dimensions of 6.78 inches, and Full HD + resolution.

The phone’s frame retains the 3.5mm headphone port, which ensures lag-free audio from wired accessories. There is support for 5G and Wi-Fi 7, as well as IP54 certification against water and dust.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate’s operating system is Android 13, with modifications made by ASUS. The brand promises two major system updates, in addition to four years with periodic security updates.

Some software features are aimed exclusively at games, such as X Sense that identifies important moments that appear on screen or new elements unlocked as the user makes progress. X Capture automatically records key player actions so they can be conveniently shared.

ROG Phone 7 Ultimate brings big battery and 50 MP camera

Another feature that gamers might like is the device’s large battery, which has a capacity of 6,000 mAh. There’s support for 65W recharges via a USB-C cable, which should complete a charge in less than an hour.

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate’s main camera has a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor, while the ultrawide camera is 13 MP and the macro camera is 5 MP. At the front, a 32 MP component is responsible for selfies.

price and availability

The ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is now available for purchase through the official ASUS website, with an official price of R$ 11,999. However, it is possible to obtain a 10% discount on cash payment, which reduces the amount to R$ 10,799.
