An alleged leaked result indicates that ASUS plans to release a new version of ROG Phone 6 equipped with Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset, a turbocharged version of MediaTek’s current premium processor. Called at the time “ROG Phone 6D”, the device would have broken records on AnTuTu, even surpassing the traditional version equipped with Qualcomm’s latest CPU.

ROG Phone 6 leaks in version with Dimensity 9000 Plus
Information arrives through the leaker Digital Chat Station, also responsible for leaking similar tests in the past that turned out to be true, and show an ASUS device registered with the model number ASUS_AI2203_D that, according to the insider, would be a member of the ROG Phone family. As the portal highlights Sparrows Newsthis model was found in a certification on the company’s Chinese website, identified as ROG Phone 6D.
The novelty would be shipped with the unprecedented MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus, an improved version of the traditional 9000, and would reach a respectable 1,146,594 points in the AnTuTu general test, taking the position of the most powerful Android smartphone to pass the benchmark.
The device would have broken records even compared to the original ROG Phone 6, equipped with the lauded Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, beating its predecessor by margins of around 3%.
Among the categories evaluated, the main highlight goes to the CPU, with 291,317 points — a result 15% higher than the rival’s 250 thousand points, and higher than any CPU ever released by Qualcomm.
If true, the scenario is impressive not only for the tests themselves, but also for demonstrating MediaTek’s advances in the last 2 years, after a long period without a premium platform capable of rivaling the Snapdragon line.

Announced at the end of June to achieve the promised (and delivered) advances of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus brought as main news an increase in CPU frequencies, which went from 3.05 GHz to 3.2 GHz, and the GPU, which would deliver even 10% more performance — apparently, the changes seem to have had an effect.
It is still too early to say why the MediaTek chip outperformed its biggest rival by such a margin, but it is possible to speculate that the numbers are the result of a combination of greater cache presence on the CPU, coupled with increased clocks and powerful cooling. that ASUS often includes in the ROG Phone family.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6D has not been confirmed so far, but considering its presence in certification bodies such as the Chinese 3C, which also pointed to the presence of 65W recharge, the device could be announced at any time.
