Apple updates Pages, Numbers and Keynote

Apple has sent out updates to Pages, Numbers and Keynote, three apps collectively known as Iwork.

The big news this time is support for the new features in Mac OS Ventura (13.0), IOS 16.1 and Ipad OS 16.1

Here’s what’s new in Pages 12.2:

  • A new activity view shows recent changes to collaborative documents, including when people connect, comment, and make changes.
  • Get notifications when others connect to or make changes to your shared documents.
  • Share a document in Messages to instantly start collaborating with your team and see updates right in the Messages conversation (requires Mac OS 13).
  • Send a message or start a Facetime call directly from a collaborative document (requires Mac OS 13).
  • Now you can use the File menu to manage your shared documents or send a copy.
  • The new template Tom layout makes it easy to start documents where you can freely arrange text and graphics.
  • A new option can automatically remove an image background and isolate its subject (requires Mac OS 13).

  • Now you can use the File menu to manage your shared worksheets or send a copy.
  • Compare values ​​and combine text with new functions such as BITS, BITS, BITS, BITSHIFT, BIT SHIFT, ISOWEEK NO, TOGETHER, TEXT JOIN and SWITCH.
  • A new option can automatically remove an image background and isolate its subject (requires Mac OS 13).
