On Tuesday evening, Apple sent out the first preview versions of iOS 16.2, iPad OS 16.2, TV OS 16.2, Watch OS 9.2 and Mac OS Ventura 13.1 to registered developers and other beta testers.
The big news this time is Freeform, a new app that allows users to draw and write together on a digital bulletin board.
Even though more new functions may become relevant, the focus seems to be on bug and security fixes, something that may be needed as we have received reports of continued problems with Blickfäng (Stage Manager), among other things.
If you are interested in participating in testing the new versions, you can go to the Apple Beta Software Program and enter your information. The sharp versions will probably be released in November.
