In connection with Wednesday’s iPhone event, Apple announced that the launch of the shared Icloud photo library (Icloud Shared Photo Library) will be postponed, in other words, the function will not be offered in IOS 16.0, which will be released on September 12.

The reason is that Ipad OS 16 and Mac OS Ventura are not released until October, so then it is reasonable that the function is released in a future update of IOS 16.

Using the new feature, it will be possible to share a separate iCloud photo library with up to five other people, such as family members or friends.

Important to point out is that everyone has the same authorization to add, edit, favorite and delete images and write captions. In other words, you should think carefully about who you share the library with.
