Apple is dropping support for older models of the Imac

Periodically, Apple chooses to stop providing spare parts for older products. First of all because of running out of stock, but also as a discreet reminder that it’s time to get new ones.

On November 30, it is time for the Imac models from 2013 and 2014 to be classified as “obsolete” products, something that Macrumors was the first to notice.

With the support for the above computers now disappearing, it is therefore the second-hand market that applies if you want to get hold of spare parts.

A list of other products that are no longer officially supported can be found on Apple’s support pages.
