At the end of last year, Android 13 / One UI 5.0 update packages rained down on dozens of Samsung phones and tablets in such quantity and speed that we could be forgiven if we forgot about the mere existence of the A04. Well, it seems that the entry-level model, which cannot be called small, got mixed up at Samsung as well, because although the A04s received it two months ago, the updated interface and main version can only be installed on the A04 from now on.
Although One UI 5.0 has brought considerable progress in the smoothness of animations, the advantage is shown with at least 4 GB of RAM and some kind of mid-range chipset, and of course even more powerful hardware. In any case, the point is that the A04 is now also up-to-date in terms of software. Unless we accuse Samsung of already having One UI 5.1, and we don’t, because the Galaxy S23 was barely released, a lot of previous models switched to this latest version.
